Other school activities
Diabetes Zero organizes school camps for children with diabetes and their parents, or for teens with diabetes, thanks to funds from the Regional Department of Hygiene, Health and Social Welfare. We also periodically conduct in-person and online nutrition education classes, including carbohydrate counting, aimed at groups of patients and family members of children and teens with recent onset of the disease. We also offer individual in-person classes to adult patients and parents of young patients on these topics.
In addition to these activities reserved for Diabetes Zero members, we organize conferences on diabetes and related topics, as well as awareness days or short courses in collaboration with schools, municipalities, other associations and organizations.
