School personnel training
The association is currently organizing training courses for Sardinian school staff, funded by the Regional Department of Hygiene, Health and Social Welfare (Regional Law Feb. 21, 2023, No. 1 - Table D). The goal of the initiative is to promote better care for diabetic pupils and ensure their full participation in educational activities. The courses are being conducted in telematics mode to encourage the widest possible participation and are organized with the collaboration of MIUR (which provides the Olympos HUB telematics platform), the Ministry of Education and Merit, the Association of Diabetes Physicians (AMD) the Italian Society of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetology (SIEDP), the Technical Scientific Association of Food, Nutrition and Dietetics (ASAND), the Association of Italian Diabetology Health Workers (OSDI), Olympos Hub and Photochrome-MED, an agency with proven experience in education.
